      A foreign bride-to-be has allegedly made away with N100 million meant for her wedding - The angry groom-to-be has dragged her to court for deceiving him all the way to the altar, only to leave him hanging - The bride-to-be has denied the claims, saying she didn't take any money and the groom-to-be made it all up for refusing to marry him Serious drama is brewing between two lovers who have now turned enemies. A bride-to-be named Yu Qing Weng has been dragged to court for allegedly making away with N100 million in money and jewelry allocated for a civil wedding which she called off. According to the broken-hearted groom-to-be, Jin Donng of Manhattan, his to-be bride, Yu Qing and her mother made away with a lot of money in cash, jewelry and gift items all from him, only to dump him and call off the wedding they had been planning for months. Based on the lawsuit filed by Jin on March 14, she made away with N14 million in “exquisite betrothal gold jewelry” and a N22.5 million paid as cash dowry by him according to their native China custom and marriage rites. In January 2017, plans towards a lavish civil wedding were in preparation, the to-be groom started spending a lot of money. So much that he even allegedly paid his bride-to-be's mother N1.3 million for appreciation sake. Seven months later, before the wedding, Qing called it off and moved out of his house.
