    -The mother had been trying to conceive for years in vain

  - Her husband chased her way because she could not bear children

    - She later found love again but had lost hope on ever giving birth 
  
   - She suffered from fibroids and underwent numerous operations 

     - Then one day a doctor told her she was pregnant of four babies

     A 59-year-old woman who had been struggling to conceive for years and was even abandoned by her husband because she was unable to bear a child finally gave birth to quadruplets. It was gathered Magadaline Namakula from Mubende District in Uganda had suffered greatly in her quest for a baby and was overwhelmed with emotions when her dream finally came true on Friday, March, 30, 2018, at Kawempe General Hospital. At her age, many would not her to be in a position to bear a child. Namakula herself had given up trying after several operations to remove fibroids. In a recent interview, the new mother said : "It reach a point where only prayer could help me. I left everything to God. I said let God heal me because I did not have money for further treatment."

Though she split up with her husband after 20 years in marriage because of the child issue, Namakula revealed she later fell in love with a man believed to be the father of her quadruplets. Strangely, she never knew she was expectant until doctors at the hospital conducted a scan on her. She had been sickling and decided to go to the hospital to find out what was wrong with her. "I thought I was suffering from some strange disease. But after tests and scans, doctors told me I was pregnant," she said, adding she was overwhelmed by emotions upon receiving the good news.

One was reportedly a still birth whereas the two others died after birth. Namakula was, nevertheless, grateful to God for giving her a child. She insisted it was nothing else but the work of God. Cases of women giving birth to four or more babies at once are not new, but those who conceived at the age of 59 or post-menopause are hard to come by.
